Partnerships & advertising

Advertise with Parent Penny

We work with brands that help parents and families handle real money: budgeting, saving, paying down debt, banking, insurance and planning for the years ahead. If your product makes one of those decisions easier, we would like to hear about it.

Who the site serves

Readers arrive searching for a specific money decision — what to spend on groceries, how much to keep in an emergency fund, which account to open for a child. That intent is the value: they are weighing options, not scrolling.

Who reads us

  • Parents and caregivers of young, school-age and teenage children
  • Households planning or managing a shared budget
  • Families working through debt payoff and credit repair
  • Caregivers saving for college, a first emergency fund or a bigger goal

What they're deciding

  • Which budgeting or savings app is worth paying for
  • Where to open a kids' account or a high-yield savings account
  • Whether a credit product, insurance policy or loan fits their situation
  • How to lower monthly costs on groceries, subscriptions and bills

Current reach, top topics and newsletter subscriber counts are shared with the media kit as soon as you get in touch.

Advertising opportunities

Mix and match — most partnerships combine a written piece with a display or newsletter placement.

Sponsored articles

A dedicated guide or resource piece written in our voice, based on a real problem your product solves for families. Drafts go through our editorial review so the advice stays practical and honest.

Newsletter sponsorships

Opening with the first regular sends

A short, clearly marked sponsor note at the top of an issue, in front of readers who opted in for money help.

Banner & display ads

Standard display placements across the homepage, topic pages and article templates. Units are labelled and kept away from editorial links so nothing reads as a recommendation by accident.

Featured resources

A spot in a curated list — budget templates, savings tools, family banking resources — where readers go looking for something to act on.

Product reviews

Hands-on reviews of apps, accounts and tools we can genuinely test as a household. We say what works, what it costs and who it is not for.

Affiliate partnerships

Ongoing performance partnerships through tracked links, always disclosed on the page and in our affiliate disclosure.

Social promotion

How we work together

What you can expect

  • Every paid placement is clearly labelled — no disguised recommendations.
  • We keep editorial control and can decline angles we can't stand behind.
  • We only work with products that are relevant, fairly priced and safe for families.
  • You get honest performance feedback so a partnership can improve over time.

What makes a pitch work

  • Tell us the family problem your product solves, not just the features.
  • Give us time to try it properly — a real review needs real use.
  • Share pricing, terms and any restrictions up front so nothing surprises readers.
  • Tell us your timeline and budget range; it makes the first reply more useful.

Paid placements never change our editorial judgement. Read our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.

Partner questions

What kind of brands do you work with?
Budgeting and savings apps, fintech companies, banks and credit unions, credit products, insurance, family and educational services, money literacy tools, and grocery or household savings brands. If a product genuinely helps a family manage money better, it is probably worth a conversation.
Is sponsored content labelled?
Yes. Sponsored articles, newsletter placements, display units and affiliate links are all disclosed on the page, and our affiliate disclosure explains how partnerships work.
Do you accept any advertiser?
No. We decline offers that target families with high-risk or misleading promises — for example payday lending, guaranteed returns, or quick-rich schemes — because reader trust is the only asset worth protecting here.
How far ahead should we plan a campaign?
For a sponsored article or review, two to four weeks lets us test the product and write something that stands on its own. Display and newsletter placements can usually move faster.
Can you share audience numbers first?
Yes. Current reach, top-performing topics and newsletter subscriber counts are available with the media kit as soon as you get in touch.
